Creative Coast Alliance Touts Knowledge Assets

The Creative Coast Alliance wants to make Savannah and Chatham County better – by bragging about them.

City, county and technology leaders formed the alliance to assist the growth of knowledge-based businesses and attract more technology to the region. The group informs prospective relocating businesses about the 49,000 students now enrolled in 17 local college and universities, with many of those students majoring in technology-related fields.

The alliance also points out that Savannah is already equipped with 38,000 miles of fiber optic cable, along with 100 square miles of wireless broadband. Visit www.thecreativecoast.org.
